Sanctuary Sound Recording Studio is located in beautiful Sebastopol California just 1 mile from downtown Occidental. Founded in 2019 by owner/producer Matt McDavid, Sanctuary Sound is in its second location. Matt found Sanctuary's new home in a masterfully crafted recording studio built in 1983 by the late Joe Hoffman. The building itself is completely soundproof with floors filled with Russian River Sand and walls completely decoupled from the outer shell of the building. The live room is acoustically designed to create a perfect decay. As well there are two Isolation booths available. Natural light fills the space which is a welcomed energy not found in most studios.  Located on a picturesque 9-acre property, Sanctuary Sound is a great studio for those who desire an escape from the city.  We look forward to providing you with a peaceful experience where creativity can flourish.
